The Herculaneum Roman ruins are among the most interesting sites in Europe, and also one of the best preserved Roman town destroyed in the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 AD, like the nearby town of Pompeii. Its frescos are among the best preserved in the whole founding of that period.
An amazing wine tasting and lunch at the near by winery Bosco de Medici will follow the visit.
